Flashbots Protect is a free RPC endpoint that routes transactions through a private mempool, preventing MEV searchers from frontrunning or sandwiching user trades. It refunds MEV back to users where possible (313 ETH in refunds to date). In 2025, Flashbots is migrating to TEE-based infrastructure for even stronger privacy guarantees.
